Attributable to Senior Sergeant Fane Troy, Bay of Plenty Road Policing: State Highway 5 at Tirau has reopened to one lane with traffic control in place, following a fatal crash around 10:20am this morning. The single vehicle’s sole occupant, a female, died at the scene.
