Please attribute to Inspector Gary Davey, Auckland City Police. Police attempted to stop a vehicle of interest in Upper Queen Street, in Auckland’s CBD at approximately 11am today after identifying the driver as being a person wanted by police. The driver failed to stop and fled. Police followed the fleeing vehicle for approximately one minute, however due to the dangerous manner of driving police abandoned the fleeing driver.
