Name of drowned man at Okuru River, Haast

[Crime and Emergency] 30/12/2017

Police are now in a position to name the man who drowned in the Okuru River,Haast on Friday 29 December after his vehicle left the road and went down a bank. He was Phillip Lee Mitchell aged 44 from Hannah’s Clearing, Haast. Police extend their sympathies to Mr Mitchell’s family and friends at this time.
